Neon Drift League

This is the one I lose evenings to. Neon Drift League is pure arcade racing — no realistic physics, just gorgeous slides through glowing city tracks where holding a drift charges your boost. The moment it clicks and you chain three corners into a full-speed straight, it feels fantastic.

Controls are dead simple: steer, and hold to drift. That's it. The skill comes from timing, not from wrestling with buttons, and the game does a great job teaching you the rhythm without a boring tutorial. Frame rate held up on every phone we tried, which matters a lot in a game this fast.

There's a decent spread of tracks and the difficulty climbs at a good pace. My only gripe is the soundtrack loops a bit too soon, but I mute games on the train anyway. Easily my favorite racer on the site right now.
